Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! I am beyond excited to be teaching for my 8th year at Liberty. I have been teaching since 1988! I taught for 27 years in Wilmington, NC! I earned my Master's in Educational Leadership at ASPU in 2021.
I am an Army Brat! I have lived in Germany; Seoul, South Korea; Fayetteville, NC; and Madison, WI. My dad was in the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg.
I look forward to working with you to have an incredible and successful school year! My passion is reading and watching children "grow" as they become more fluent in reading and comprehension. As I work with your child to help them become better learners, I also have the opportunity to guide the development of future teachers as the Multi-Class Leader. Our class will have two Teacher Residents as part of a program with Lipscomb University. Together we will grow and learn.
Let's make EVERY moment count as we will find out our learning possibilities are endless!
