Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! I am beyond excited to be teaching for my 6th year at Liberty. I have been teaching since 1988! I taught for 27 years in Wilmington, NC! I earned my Masters in Educational Leadership at ASPU. This year I am working toward my second Masters in Reading. I am an Army Brat!(I have lived in Germany; Seoul, South Korea; Fayetteville, NC; and Madison, Wi. My dad was in the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg).I have three children. My son, Chris, lives and works Wilmington, NC with his wife. He served in the Army National Guard as an MP for four years. My daughter, Kimber lives in Wilmington with her husband and three children. I look forward to working with you to have an incredible and successful school year! My passion is reading and watching children "grow" as they become more fluent in reading and comprehension. Let's make EVERY moment count as we find out learning possibilities are endless!
