Lions School History
In order to accommodate student population growth in northern Montgomery County, Liberty Elementary was constructed in 1995, and opened in the fall of 1996. The school is located at 849 South Liberty Church Road (Woodlawn Community) and currently serves K through 5th grades. Liberty is currently designated a school-wide Title I school, providing all students the opportunity to benefit from the services of the federal program. Student enrollments have varied, but Liberty currently serves a student population of approximately 800 students. Liberty is a “late” school, meaning that our classes begin at 8:55 A.M. and conclude at 3:55 P.M.
