Hello Lions! My name is Brandi Goodwin, and I am a second-grade teacher at Liberty Elementary. I began my career with CMCSS in 2013 and have taught at Norman Smith and Liberty elementary schools. I also taught 15 years prior to joining CMCSS. I graduated with a BS in Psychology in 1992 and spent 5 years in the Army. I voluntarily separated as a Captain in 1997, received my teaching certificate in 1998, and my MA in Curriculum and Instruction with a Literacy concentration in 2000.
This year, we are fortunate enough to have two Teacher Residents in our class, Akira Bolton and Paula Green. They will finish their programs with a Master’s Degree in Education and will be full-time teachers next year.
