Welcome to third grade! My name is Maggie Hedgepath and this '23-24 school year I am transitioning from teaching fourth grade to third grade math and science here at Liberty. I can't wait to explore the world alongside my students through a STEM lens. I have two young kiddos of my own who are Liberty Lions. I graduated from Austin Peay with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. I strive to build the most positive learning environment available for my students, and I believe communication is key in doing so. Please reach out with any comments or questions. It's going to be a spectacular year!

Ms. Hedgepath's  MONSTERS:

Marvelous, Outstanding, Nice, Super, Terrific, Excellent, Responsible, Student

Respect YOURSELF and OTHERS in all situations. We will continually practice empathy as a class and use our mistakes as an opportunity to learn and grow as people.

Approach every task, every day with a growth mindset. Together, we will find a way to turn "I can't" statements into a framework of positives. Each person is unique, and our class will always aim to find what works best for every individual student's success.

In this class, we follow all PAWS expectations and refer back to them often as we find ways to connect them to all areas of life for optimal outcomes.

  • be Prepared
  • Act responsibly
  • Work hard
  • Show respect

Respect others' opinions.

Ask questions and participate.

Come to class prepared.

Always try your best.

Be honest and forgiving.

Never stop learning!
