DEADLINE APPROACHING!
The coronavirus has caused a catastrophic economic crisis in the United States as well as a health one. Parents are doing their best, but in the upcoming months, many will struggle to make rent, pay bills, and put food on the table.
The Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) program was created to help families afford food during this crisis. It provides a benefit card that can be used at grocery stores or, online through Amazon and Walmart, that contains the value of the breakfasts and lunches missed due to school closures.
All families with students that are eligible for a free or reduced meals at school can receive this benefit if they apply by 4:30pm on June 29th.
