The Kindness Rock Garden idea started with our BETA club, they read the book “Only One You” and watch a video on the Kindness Rock Project, they also came up with our hashtag #kindlions. But now between art class and guidance it has become school wide. The planters in front of  our school are now filling up with rocks that have been painted by our students. We would like to make this a Liberty tradition and fill the planters with words of kindness. We love for you to look and read them, but please leave them so we all my enjoy them.

Spring is a beautiful time of year, but it also comes with many stressors like changes in routines, state testing, and grades. What is this about ?

Students will use their math skills to determine the cost for buying food as if they were hosting an event. Students will solve math problems, but are not ACTUALLY purchasing items.

All problems will be appropriate to each grade level.

BONUS: The classroom with the highest percentage of participation will receive an ice-cream party !!

Parent/Guardians, this is your opportunity to participate in and observe your child’s math skills in the real world !

FYI  Kroger will be open to all customers

PARENTS/GUARDIANS MUST stay with their children during the event. NO DROP OFFS !!
